For authors

The social reality of today’s world, often ambiguous and evolving under the influence of expanding new technologies, causes changes in all spheres of formal and informal education. As a result of this, it is necessary to create new educational structures that would employ traditional media as well as electronic media in all stages of education.

The purpose of the conference is to discuss the following matters: child-rearing in the context of mediatisation of contemporary culture and the presence of media in formal and informal education in the countries of the Visegrad Group.

The conference will address such issues as:

  1. Upbringing and education of children and youth in the face of changing media culture in Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Hungary
  2. Teachers and students as users of traditional and new media
  3. The use of media in formal and informal education
  4. Modern information and communication technologies in school education
  5. The role of media in the lives of children and youth
  6. Contemporary pedagogy in the light of new educational challenges
  7. Methodological aspects of media pedagogy research

We invite all pedagogues, psychologists, sociologists and representatives of other academic disciplines who are interested in the subject matter of the discussion. Teachers, educators and practitioners are also cordially invited.
